Note of Encouragement to a Blocked Artist

I had dinner with Mark and went out shooting with him yesterday, managing to get attacked by an osprey, and as we walked back to the truck we were talking about Nashville and you came up and before I could say anything Mark said: "I really admire her for having the guts to just go for it." Exactly my sentiments. Most people I know -- most of my dearest friends – fold in the face of a challenge. The depression and isolation and creative block you're experiencing are all part of the process of expression, and you've just got to work through it even if it means producing shitty stuff. Just keep producing, you'll be fine.
