hacking the future

In Wisconsin, nursing a hack in my chest. This is the future: paralysis and asphyxiation due to the
slightest contact with the wrong person sneezing bird flu. How can a normally functioning, healthy body
suddenly be so disrupted by another person's germs? Everyone here shrinks every time I cough and I cannot
blame them. Good thing I'm not on an airplane.
