Painter of dancers and women bathing, a hermit who refused to come out of his cave, endlessly prolific but slowly becoming blind, Degas would be heartbroken to know he has missed the glitter and gutters of this century. In a surreal entertainment designed by Seanie Blue, the character of Degas is given a rocket-smart and ambitious model to act as his muse, and we see what happens in his thoughts as well as hers as they make a unique art.
