I've never really given Flikcr an honest try. It's a good combo spot for writing with image, but there is just something weird about its ambience. Not simply a question of no self-editing and not even a pretense toward criticism, but more a sense of maximum expectation for minimal effort. Never liked that mix. But I like writing at length for an image. So this is a place for my photo essays, literally.
