Too nice to talk to? She gets painted for war. A peacock who objects when I say she wants all men to be pulled toward her, wanting something primordial. She thinks it's my imagination.

Painted Alive for Halloween in Mexico

When I asked you about your confidence -- "Why are you here if you don't already know you can do the acting?" -- you said you were unsure if you could do what the project required, and I tried to get you to admit that you knew perfectly well you could do the acting or whatever was needed to make the movie good. It's great to see how quickly you take the role of Charlie -- imagine how good this would be if there was a month to make the project! And you can do this quickly because of your ability to concentrate -- to think, consider, analyze -- and because of curiosity. And I think concentration and curiosity are the twins of intelligence. So in the end if anybody asks why you would waste your time on somebody's poetic vision of a movie or a story, you can say, "I did it because it was the smart thing to do."
